
Carey Nicholson
Formally trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance, Carey has come to theatre after spending considerable time as a contemporary dancer/teacher/choreographer in Toronto with the School of the Toronto Dance Theatre, an arts/business administrator, and a basketmaker/fibre artist. In addition to her theatre pursuits, Carey currently channels her passion for the arts into her work as an integrated arts instructor, gallery owner and president of the Scugog Council for the Arts.
Carey has been involved with numerous community theatre productions and groups in Durham region and elsewhere - performing, choreographing, producing and directing with the Borelians Community Theatre, Cadenza Productions, OnStage Uxbridge, Oshawa Little Theatre, Port Perry Players, Scarborough Music Theatre and Scugog Choral Society.
