Jim Canale

Jim Canale

Jim is currently a student at Bad Dog Theatre in Toronto, enrolled in their Intermediate Improv Series. He has performed in a number of Improv shows, a couple of Stand Up performances and is a regular at their Thursday night Jam night. His drama experience stems from having three older sisters and living in an Italian/Catholic home with close Jewish friends and neighbours in Thornhill, Ontario LOL!!! Jim runs a local business in Aurora for over ten years and supports local performances as much as possible. As member of Theatre Ontario the audition for Jacobs Ladder was posted and he was excited at the chance of just auditioning for the part for Gorgeous George - in that it brings back childhood memories of Saturday mornings watching Canadian wrestling with his father, Alex, and how he was a huge fan of Whipper Billy Watson. Jim is proud to perform in local theatre and would like to thank the director and the crew for the chance to audition and casting him this role that has sentimental value. Jim knows his dad will be watching at ringside up above. Jim would like to also thank all his family and friends for their support and providing great material to work with.
