Peter Shipston

Peter has "walked the boards" of area community theatres for the past 20 years and has recently begun performing in professional productions as well. He has recieved numerous nominations and awards for both acting and directing including a Theatre Ontario Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. This is his first time working with Playwrights of Spring, but not his first time appearing on Theatre Aurora's stage. He last performed here in An Experiment with an Air Pump for which he received a nomination for Best Actor. Thanks to Solange, Rand and Heather for this exciting opportunity to showcase the works of these great fledgling playwrights. And also for the opportunity to work with some terrific new people and some wonderful old friends. (And for not making me learn any lines!!)
